Who can participate?
The competition page shows the available grade divisions for each competition.
How is the grade division selected?
The system uses the grade reported by the guardian for the 2026-2027 school year.
What qualifies for Kindergarten?
Select Kindergarten for a child in Kindergarten or below Kindergarten level.
Which competitions are available by grade?
Open the Competitions page. Each competition shows its available grade divisions.
How many competitions can one child request?
A guardian can rank up to the configured number of competition requests shown on the registration form.
Is a submitted registration confirmed?
No. The team must verify payment or approve a waiver. The team must also review capacity and schedule conflicts.
What happens when a competition is full?
The system puts the request on the waitlist when waitlist capacity is available.
How are topics released?
The published rules page for each competition contains an approved topic when the competition requires one.
Can I correct registration information?
Yes. Contact events@usatnma.org. Include the registration ID and do not send medical details by email.
Can I withdraw a registration?
Yes. Contact events@usatnma.org and include the registration ID.
Must a guardian remain at the event?
A responsible guardian must remain available at the venue. The final event rules will give the exact requirement.
What must participants bring?
Open the published rules for each confirmed competition. The rules list participant materials and event-provided materials.
How does the team handle schedule conflicts?
The team uses ranked requests to confirm a conflict-free set. The team does not silently replace a confirmed competition.
Where will public speaking take place?
The final schedule will show the assigned hall and time.
How does the team select judges?
The Judge Coordinator assigns judges. Each judge must declare a conflict before the assignment can receive scores.
How does the team determine winners?
Judges use the approved rubric. Results Control verifies the paper score sheet and the portal record before approval.
What does top five mean?
The final competition rules will state the number of awards for each competition and age division.
Can the event use photos or video?
Official event photography does not use a focused image with a child name. The consent rules apply to other approved uses.
What food and snacks are available?
The event team will publish the food and snack plan before the event.
How does the team handle allergies?
Give allergy information only through the registration process or an approved private channel. General event views do not show medical details.
Does the event provide childcare?
No. The event does not provide childcare or babysitting.
When will the team announce winners?
The event schedule will show the awards time. Results remain private until an authorized person reveals them.
